Play in the stands with The Pride!

Schedule

• Tailgate - WVU Law School - 8:30am - 10:30am
• Performance warm-up - 10:40am - 11:00am (WVU Law School) 
• Meet The Pride to enter stadium - 11:05am
• We will perform pregame and stand tunes. Music can be found under "Music" then "Pep Band Music and Audio Files" and then your section.

Registration - Register today so you don't miss out participating in this event! It is open to all band alumni and their families. If you plan to play in the stands with The Pride, you need to register in advance. Registration is open through April 25, 2024. Register here.

Gold-Blue Spring Game Free Admission - Arm bands will be provided for admittance to the game to sit with The Pride.

Donations for WVU Medicine Children's - We are asking those attending to provide a cash or check donation at the tailgate to benefit WVU Medicine Children's. Checks should be made payable to WVU Medicine Children's. 

Gold-Blue Game Day Activities

1. Pregame Tailgate

Plan to join us for a pregame tailgate located at the WVU Law School! Parking is available for everyone at this location.

• Members - $6
• Nonmembers (13 years of age or older) - $12
• Children (12 years of age or younger) - FREE

We will have a food truck box lunch with T&L Hotdogs. The box meal includes:

• Nachos
• Choice of 2 Original Dogs or one 1/4 pound Frank (all toppings included)
• Drink

There will also be Rogers and Mazza pepperoni rolls and fresh baked cookies. 

Feel free to bring your own lawn or bag chair as seating will not be provided. Our location is TBD. Please look for our tents and Alumni Band banner when you arrive.

2. Gold-Blue Game - We will be playing in the stands with The Pride. Please allow up to 24 hours after registering for access to the music and audio files. You can download your stand tunes by going to the "Music" tab on the homepage and then to "Pep Band Music and Audio Files." For download issues, please email webmaster@wvualumniband.org. 

Attire

• Blue Gig Shirt
  
• Dark Blue Jeans (The Pride members will be wearing jeans)
  
• White Headwear (The Pride will wear a white ballcap. Alumni Member Choice of Ballcap, Visor, Toboggan, Headband; Appropriate at discretion of AB Directors.)
  

If there is inclement weather, we will make adjustments concerning attire.

Equipment/Instrument Rental – We are working to be able to provide rental equipment for this event. Please be sure to complete the rental section of the form if you are in need of equipment. NOTE THAT THERE WILL BE NO FEE FOR EQUIPMENT. WE DO ASK THAT YOU PLEASE READ AND AGREE TO THE TERMS. Please reserve your equipment by Friday, April 19, 2024. After that date we cannot guarantee availability. See rental agreement here.
