2011 Homecoming Activities
Parade Information
Arrive early on Friday, September 30 to participate in the Homecoming Parade, then plan to stay downtown for the Homecoming Reunion Party afterward.
Parade participants should gather by 5:30 PM in the public parking lot on North High Street adjacent to the Chi Omega sorority house (this lot is across the street from Wesley United Methodist Church.)
Members renting equipment should arrive at 5:00 PM to check out equipment in time to rehearse shortly after 5:30 PM. Percussionists should gather at 5:15 PM to review intro. and roll off intros.
The equipment truck departs at 5:55 PM for lower High Street where it will remain to pick-up equipment following the parade.
Music can be downloaded from the WVU Alumni Band Website and limited copies will be available prior to the parade.
Reunion Party Information
The Reunion Party is Sold Out as of 9/25/11.
The WVU Alumni Band Reunion Party will be held after the parade at the High Street Banquet Center inside De Lazy Lizard at 345 High Street. The party hall opens at 6:45 PM with the party starting at 7:00 PM.
The party will feature an informal program including selected band memories, special invited guests, door prizes and taco bar. Arrive early to get a good seat and enjoy the rest of the parade.
The event is by pre-registration only, with no walk-up registrations being accepted, so make plans to join in this annual tradition.

Game Day Information
Member should plan to arrive early (after 7:00 AM) at the WVU Shell Building on Saturday, October 1 to register and receive your member packet and rehearse for the Homecoming pregame show on the WVU Band practice field from approximately 8:00-9:30 AM. A brief business meeting will be held afterward and then members will make their way to the stadium to lineup to run-on Mountaineer Field and perform at pregame. Game time is 3:30pm.

New for 2011: Guest Tickets for the football game are for those 12 years of age and older. We have implemented an age restriction for guest tickets this year due to alcohol being served at Mountaineer Stadium.
